Roots, Shoots, and Sprouts

Roots, Shoots, and Sprouts is the youth-based garden in gprogram of Victory House Community Resource Center. It is designed to introduce the concepts of agriculture, nutrition, science, and entrepreneurship through development of a produce garden. Youth of all ages (children to seasoned seniors) come together to plant, cultivate, and harvest produce that they use to prepare nutritious meals or sell at the Victory House Farmers Market. Participants learn how to work as a team andare empowered by growing, preparing, and selling their own food.
